Hey guys! I'm baaaack! It's been awhile. A long while. I'm excited to tap into the blogosphere again and share Life+Style with you guys! During my long hiatus, I added to my family, as some of you might know from my Instagram, and it's been a beautiful journey. With two babes in the home it's never a dull moment. Tired eyes and sticky floors have this mama busy busy busy! Shout out to all you ladies out there with kids! It's a hard, stressful, sometimes tearful, but joyful, incredible, beautiful, crazy, life raising babies right?! I don't know how some of you manage with more than two! I tip my hat to you ladies, because as wonderful as motherhood is, sometimes we just need a break! I used to feel guilty thinking that way and would often cry about not doing this or that and comparing myself to women who looked like they have it all together. I've learned to say, "enough!" To those negative thoughts and to move forward. Nobody's perfect, all I can do is be the best ME I can be. For everyone's sake! Haha
2017 has me feeling all kinds of emotions. I have grown as a person, a wife, a mother, and I want to do MORE of what makes me happy. Feeling inspired to inspire and to tackle new beginnings and adventures with a plan. I have learned to say "no" which is hard, and to make mistakes without beating myself up about them. Yes, it's going to be a good year!
I wore this look the other day on an outing with my girlfriend for good eats, conversation and a little shopping. It's a bit urban, a bit edgy a bit artsy. Perfect for a stroll through the city on a rainy day!
Layering is key if you don't want to go for a coat when it's cold out. For this look I layered a cozy oversized sweater from H&M over a structured leopard blazer from Zara. Which in my opinion, dresses down the look. A simple white tee, faux leather leggings and sleek leather boots from Sam Edelman, give this look the edgy vibe I like. I added the Janessa Leon Alara hat and the always cool always classic Balenciaga Giant City for interest. Mirrored aviators by Rayban in a rose gold tone, give my look a pop of color. You really can't go wrong with your sunnies. Any style or color would do!
